CERES had kidnapped someone important to them so they were here to get her back! But they kind of flooded us in the process.
[ Given how Genos wasn't there he can only imagine what "kind of flooded us" exactly entailed. Either Ruby is very used to destruction or she's that carefree. Or possibly even the combination of the two. ]
In the end did CERES give back who was kidnapped? [ This also sounds really concerning in a way?? ]
[It was pretty cool, as far as Ruby's concerned, though she can't really say much since she wasn't on the trip itself. Hiro told her about it, though.]
And they returned her to them, and that's when they dragged us out into the jungle. I think we were supposed to live there forever, but... we can't actually stay out there.

Though not to deter from our conversation but I seemed to have stepped into the remains of what might have seen what were making those noises earlier.
[ It's clear that he should stop stepping with this foot and perhaps hop until they find the source of water that Ruby had mentioned but in doing so meant that he was going to look ridiculous. And while Genos doesn't really care what he looks like it's also not really logical.
So he keeps on squishing along. Hopefully they'll find that water she spoke about sooner than later. ]

My hands can provide as a small heater if you wish to dry off after I clean my foot.
[ Which is what he's going to do as soon as Ruby clears the water because he doesn't want to get that on her. Not even the smallest part. One of his hands will transform and produce a small brush which he'll use in the water to clean every bit of the "organic matter" from him.
Once he's done he'll turn back to Ruby—hand going back to normal and heating up like that time where he blasted the monster. ]
Would you like a full body drying or just where it was wet?
[ And cue Genos producing a small heat blast that's more like a combination of what someone might expect from a space heater but also a hair dryer. Except with significantly less noise and definitely more precise in where it's aimed.
He'll be using both hands to maximize the surface area of which he's drying. It's kind of amazing how these very hands could destroy something so completely and yet also do this. ]
[ The sparkling surely makes him feel a sense of pride for the doctor that did this to him since she was praising his handiwork. Much deserved given everything that he has done for him. ]

The arms I have now are actually salvaged parts from an enemy I defeated before I was transported here.
I do not do this regularly, please keep that in mind. It was just that in this case, the enemy was using technology I had not encountered before and I felt as if something could be learned from it.
